Makeup Classes & Recitals 2020

The completion of our 2019-20 Dance year has certainly been an extraordinary one that no one anticipated! We have done our best to finish the year with online classes, recordings, videos, etc. so that our students’ 6 ½ months of hard work in the studio from September through March and the recital costumes purchased can be utilized in a recital experience, albeit a different one!

Our plan is to re-open in accordance with CDC guidelines in two sessions. Each session will include two “in person” classes geared toward preparing our students for their recital/showcase date. The classes will be held at the studio while the recital venue is still being determined at this time. We want our students to continue to practice with their online class recordings and teacher videos from YouTube until their particular session begins. A list of classes by session is included on this page.

If you'd like more detail about the plan, please read this letter, which we also sent via email to each of our students' parents/guardians.

Session 1 will consist of all classes with less than 10 students and will have their two “in person” classes at the studio the week of June 15th and June 22nd. The recital/showcase dates for Session 1 are Monday June 29th through Thursday July 2nd.

Session 2 will consist of all classes with more than 10 students and will have their two “in person” classes at the studio the week of July 6th and July 13th. The recital/showcase dates for Session 2 are Sunday July 19th through Saturday July 25th.

As noted above, the full schedule of classes by session is below. You will also be emailed individually by class with your child’s “in person” class dates and times as well as their recital/showcase date and time. Each class only performs on ONE recital date because it will be filmed and compiled into a complete recital format after the completion of both sessions.
